1. Dopamine Nation

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Dopamine Nation: Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence by Dr. Anna Lembke

We live in an unprecedented age where high-dopamine stimulation is easily accessible: drugs, food, gambling, shopping, gaming, social media, and social software...

These stimulation-triggering things, compared to the past, have grown in number, The variety and impact are astounding.

We are more inclined to pursue pleasure and less pain, and this will eventually lead to an imbalance between the two, the author told me to control my intake of stimuli and start the possibility of changing my lifestyle.

The first half of the book is engaging, and the discussion and illustration of the Pleasure/Pain relationship are brilliant. In the following case discussion.

Take the summary.
  1. The relentless pursuit of pleasure (and avoidance of paint) leads to pain.
  2. Recovery begins with abstinence.
  3. Abstinence resets the brain's reward pathway and with it our capacity to take joy in simpler pleasures.
  4. Self-binding creates a literal and metacognitive space between desire and consumption, a modern necessity in our dopamine-overloaded world.
  5. Medications can restore homeostasis, but consider what we lose by medicating away our pain.
  6. Pressing on the pain side resets our balance to the side of pleasure.
  7. Beware of getting addicted to pain.
  8. Radical honesty promotes awareness, enhances intimacy, and fosters a plenty mindset.
  9. Prosocial shame affirms that we belong to the human tribe.
  10. Instead of running away from the world, we can find escape by immersing ourselves in it.

2. The ONE Thing

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The ONE Thing: The Surprisingly Simple Truth About Extraordinary Results by Gary Keller

I'll give you the second book "the one thing". this is a book that I give all my clients the recommendation to read we have a whole week in my metamorphic coaching program just all about harnessing the power of one thing.

let me illustrate my favorite concept from this for you and why I'm recommending it this is how most people are operating they have five-eight different things going on now you tell me someone doing eight gigs or one gig what's going to get them further the one gig but don't take my advice from it, look at the best companies in the world KFC what's their one thing chicken, google what's their one thing - "search", Starbucks their one thing - 'coffee' 'star wars' what's their one thing you'd be like 'movies' no merchandise you're like Clark well I got you what about the iPhone, what about apple, they actually have one thing I brand the I sweet the iPhone, the iMac, the iPod it's all under that same umbrella it's one thing.

so if this book does one thing for you it's to end multitasking that actually doesn't exist when your brain's multitasking it's like an on-and-off switch it's switching between task a and b, a and b very very very fast sometimes so fast it's undetectable so you feel like you can do two things at once but you actually can't.

doing too many things is not a badge of honor it is the antithesis of productivity is about focus and focus and you want to write this down "focus is the absence of distractions" when you remove distractions what you're left with is the focus that's why it's so much better to go after one thing and go all in and eight different things and spread yourself too thin.

3. The Essential Writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The Essential Writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson by Ralph Waldo Emerson

third up we're going old school "the essential writings of ralph waldo Emerson" look at that all of that's essential you know he was pretty prolific and no I didn't just put this on here to show you that I can read above a fifth-grade reading level.

I believe a lot of his writing was around the 1840s give or take we had to read him in like high school I didn't respect him until I got a bit older now I'm in my 30s literally two steps away from having a white beard smoking pipe tobacco and telling kids to get off my lung I'm glad that this gave me a call back I saw it on the shelf and I picked it up and I realized the depth in this book.

something to be said about old-school classics like ralph waldo Emerson or Plato and Marcus Aurelius the greeks have so much wisdom that they had to think through because they didn't just have everything at the tips of their fingers on a smartphone they really had to have conversations sit in deep thought or meditation and come to a lot of the truths that we're coming to even with all this technology they come back to you know the same 50 truths over and over again.

somewhere in the thousands of words and 830-something pages, I pulled one quote that I'll share with you the big idea for this here, is the purpose of life is not to be happy it is to be usefully honorable to be compassionate to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.

I agree when ralph Waldon's talking that the purpose of life is not to be happy which can almost be selfish it's to be useful because happiness is ever-changing ambiguous people who just chase after happiness I mean you could just go after hedonism little bit of coke I'm happy hedonism more bring it on people chase happiness.

later ralph waldo Emerson talks about enthusiasm when you look the etymology of enthusiasm comes from Greek and it literally means to be possessed by God within there's a spirit inside of you spirit inspired happiness is not the meaning of life being inspired by having enthusiasm having that zest that passion that excitement that's when you come alive you do your best work and guess what you're not worried about being happy because that's your natural state of being you're just worried about being useful and sharing with others.

and the flip side is also true when you're not inspired when you're not enthusiastic when you don't have that zest for life what do we call being depressed being burnt out being like this sucks.

4. The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself by Michael A. Singer

the number fifth book I would recommend that you read this year and this was my favorite one we actually have a book summary on it I'll link down below "the untethered soul".

the journey beyond yourself biggest idea from this book is that you know you have 60 000 thoughts about it a lot of them are negative they're not positive so there are automatic negative thoughts going off in your brain every single day and most people have what Michael singer calls this inner roommate.

so this inner roommate is following you around day to day saying hey you're not good enough, you can't do that, they're laughing at you, they're going to reject you, everyone hates you if you have that roommate following you around your house all day or your apartment what would you do, you would move the heck out be like you are not welcome here get out of my space dude what is wrong with that person you wouldn't tolerate it for a second.

so many of us have that inner roommate up here in those 60 000 thoughts you're actually not that voice but that voice inside your head is not you, it's not that 2.0 version it's not that highest version of you Michael singer says that the fact that you can even notice your thoughts.

means that you are not dead not personalizing everything and becoming the observer that's what this book's about more importantly getting on your own team and your own side for this year next year and beyond.

5. How to Win Friends & Influence People

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie

I will start with "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie. I think you've definitely heard about this book even if you haven't read it because it's quite well known it was written way ago and it's been very popular for dozens of years.

and this book is about relationships with people and how to make sure that they are of good quality and that the other person also enjoys being in touch with you. I have learned a lot from this book I know that the title sounds a little bit manipulative maybe how to win over friends and how to influence people.

but actually, the content is really good and a good friend of mine uh told me that he reads this book every January to remind him of the rules that apply in you know inter-human communication and he likes to remind himself of it so that he really applies it in practice.

and I think that's maybe a good idea if you haven't read it then read it at least once and you'll see if that gives you a few tips as well.

6. Everything You Need To Know If You Want Love That Lasts

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Everything You Need To Know If You Want Love That Lasts by Sabrina Alexis

this one it's by Sabrina Alexis and she wrote two books I definitely recommend both of them but if I just have to mention one then it's "everything you need to know if you want a love that lasts" and I recommend this book to every woman out there whether single or married or in a relationship, in a happy relationship or not a happy relationship.

I think this book really gives you a great insight into relationships and how they work or don't work or what doesn't work I have recommended this book to a few friends of mine and all of them told me that it really really helped them whatever stage of relationship or non-relationship they were.

so if you are interested in the topic of relationships then definitely read this one.

7. The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love that Lasts by Gary Chapman

I think quite well known it's Gary Chapman's "five love languages". it's really really well known and you've probably read it if you're into this topic but I have to mention it because I think it's really really good and it helps understand how communication works in a couple.

but also I think it's easily applicable to other relationships your friends your children or anybody out there it's basically about the idea that we all have different languages and how we like to communicate so how you.

for example, feeling loved by the other person for some people it's when they hear it in words you know or for some people, it's when they receive presents for other people it's.

it's expressed by touch and so this book is really really interesting I think uh again whatever relationship or non-relationship you're in I think this should be a must-read for everyone out there.

8. A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose by Eckhart Tolle

the next one is "a new earth" by Eckhart Tolle. you probably heard about Tolley's book the power of now which is a bestseller it's probably better known but I think I've read both of them.

and I think new earth is actually more valuable or gives more insight into how life works or I don't know even how to how to describe it this book for me was probably the slowest read I've ever done I usually like to read books fast and you know I want to get to the information but with this book, I was like I was reading a few lines even.

and then I stopped to think about it and I highlighted half of the book I don't it just gave me so many insights about life about people about the meaning of life and I'm just going to read the book again and probably if I want to read something every year I would probably pick this one.

because I think it really has taught me a lot this book has really changed me so um if you want to read something like this then Eckhart Tolle is definitely a good tip.

9. Man's Search for Meaning

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

and the next book I would like to mention is Viktor Frankl's "man's search for meaning". this is quite a well-known book so you've probably heard about it.

basically the author it's an autobiographical book because the author was in Auschwitz a nazi camp and he describes his whole life but from the point of view of a psychiatrist because he's a doctor and how he basically saw all of all that was happening.

but from a very different point of view, it's not like just okay this happened and these were the atrocities that happened in there but how people felt about it and how people interacted with each other.

it's incredibly interesting to read just because it's interesting but I think it also gives a few really interesting ideas about the meaning of life which it says in the title so I would definitely recommend these books.

10. The Miracle Morning

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The Miracle Morning: The Not-So-Obvious Secret Guaranteed to Transform Your Life by Hal Elrod

the next one is Hal Elrod's "miracle morning". the book basically says that you could wake up way earlier than you normally do for example at 5 am and spend the first hour of your day working on yourself and on your own personal development by writing a diary and doing a little exercise thinking about what you want to achieve in life.

and it's I think the idea was very new to me when I read it a few years ago and uh even though I do not wake up at 5 a.m in the morning I tried it for a few weeks it was interesting but I didn't really stick with it for a long time but I get some other things from the book uh from then on and basically, for the last three years I've been writing a diary and it's a great thing to do definitely.

definitely recommend miracle morning I think it's also quite an interesting read for language purposes the book is pretty simple to read I personally read it in french that's my weakest language and I didn't have any problem at all reading it and I'm sure it was translated into many languages.

so if you want something just interesting to read then I would definitely recommend miracle morning.

11. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth by T. Harv Eker

This story is to tells us that if we want to explain a book well, it is useless to rely on the results obtained on the Internet and other people's achievements. You have to make an induction yourself to do things well.

Therefore, I have extracted a few constructive points, which are as follows:
  1. You can't have more money than you can control. So if you want to become rich, you must first improve your financial management ability, otherwise, you will not be able to keep more money.
  2. You have to be aware of what is wrong with your concept in order to change it.
  3. Abandon the wrong financial model that your parents, elders, and previous education brought you.
  4. Work hard to make money, save money, invest money, and reduce expenses.
  5. Put 10% of your income into an investment-only, never-spent Financial Freedom Account to generate passive income with interest until retirement and never principal.
  6. Challenge yourself, keep making progress, and break through your comfort zone.
  7. Change negative thoughts and manage your heart.

From the above points, wanting to excel in money is the same as wanting to excel in any area. For example, if you want to have a lot of knowledge, first of all, you have to have a good way of learning, you have to change the wrong concept of learning, you have to learn methods from people with good grades, study hard, play less... etc., for each experience, This is too easy to understand for students who have been tortured by countless exams and have developed their ability to take exams.

What this book proposes is a cure, not to tell you how to make a lot of money quickly, but to have the ability to make money consistently and keep it rich. Just like when you develop a habit of lifelong learning and reading, you will naturally continue to accumulate knowledge.

In the long run of life, you will never fall behind the times and will always maintain a state of mind that keeps pace with the times. Most people live in poverty because of their way of thinking, not because they don't work hard. This book can help some people who have problems with the money concept.

Just like paying attention to "Feeling Good", it can help you receive a little bit of artistic information every day. No matter how busy you are, you can get new knowledge very efficiently, cultivate your temperament, and feel every day good.

12. Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah

the next one is Trevor Noah's "born a crime". this was so interesting to read so Trevor is a very well-known comedian who comes from South Africa and he tells about his childhood during the apartheid period in South Africa and for me.

it was just so interesting to read about what it was like there and I was surprised that we didn't really learn anything about that at school I was actually shocked and afterward, I read a lot on Wikipedia and I was just interested in that because it was a whole new topic for me so maybe that's not your case but in any way.

I think this book is really interesting to read because it shows what it was like but also it is written in a very nice way because Trevor is a very good comedian I uh comedian I love to watch his standups I think is really really funny and this shows in the book so it's I think it's a fascinating book to read.

it will make you laugh and cry it will touch you and it will make you learn new things if you don't know about you know what happened in South Africa in this during this period.

13. Etched in Sand

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Etched in Sand: A True Story of Five Siblings Who Survived an Unspeakable Childhood on Long Island by Regina Calcaterra

the next autobiography I want to mention is Regina Calcaterra's "etched in the sand". this was also interesting for me, it's a story of a woman who as a child was abused by her mother together with her four siblings.

and it's incredible how these children survive and how they take care of each other and how they um how they basically grow up when they are so young because they had to and so you watch and follow their story.

it's very well written and I think it's just it's just an interesting read I wouldn't even say why I just really enjoyed reading this book but it's difficult to read it because what happens to these kids is just so bad but I think that makes the book very interesting and inspiring in many ways.

14. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

If you use the traditional detective fiction model to measure the book, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" clearly fails the writing skills, and the author is a reporter, not a detective novelist. There was so much he wanted to express, and he was so angry that it took the story off its weight. Successful novelists must keep a certain distance from reality so that they can observe the world calmly.

But the real anger, social anxiety, and patriotism will not be covered up by poor writing. When you read this book, you need to ignore the plot itself, because if you exclude the embezzlement of national assets and neo-Nazi ideas. The revival, the neglect of the disadvantaged, the repeated sexual assault of women, and other social status quo attacks, the story can really be written on a single page.

Although the whole book is like an overly long battle essay, the readability has not been weakened in the slightest, but it makes people feel a little addicted to it. It can be said that the suspense set by the author is very good, the protagonist is very personal, and the psychological description is also in place... enough, these are all nonsense.

I think what really attracts me is the intellectual elite consciousness and sense of responsibility possessed by the author. How long have we not seen such a sense of social responsibility as Larsen in the celestial dynasty of "don't talk about state affairs and entertain until death"? reporter? So, what we love is what we lack.

15. Think Like a Monk

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Think Like a Monk: Train Your Mind for Peace and Purpose Every Day by Jay Shetty

The next one is "think like a monk" by Jay Shetty. this book is incredible, this book is amazing. I absolutely love his philosophies and how he'd bought the monk philosophy into the western world obviously we do not live in an ashram, we have families, we have kids, we have parents, we have different things, we've got to do jobs, all that kind of stuff so you can't bring everything into the western world that's understandable.

and my favorite part about "think like a monk" is it looks like it's from an ashram or something like an ancient wisdom book which is really cool I just think it looks cool once you take the sleeve off of it but for real my favorite concept from thinking like a monk is by far the importance of routines not only the importance of routines but sticking to them as well so you may have heard people say you need to wake up early bird gets the worm that kind of stuff and it doesn't mean you have to wake up ridiculously early but being consistent is important but also the earlier the better and I know this for myself but I would definitely recommend that you take a test called sleep chronotype so you can figure out when is the best for your sleep routine.

but what I've noticed with myself is when I wake up earlier I'm so much more productive I get all my stuff done I want to work out I want to eat healthier I want to be better so early mornings for me work very well now the concept that he talks about is waking up earlier everyone goes well I can't wake up early I don't have enough time it's like it doesn't mean you have to wake up like ridiculously early you can use it incrementally which jay talks about in the book.

start waking up 15 minutes earlier, 30 minutes earlier 45 minutes earlier than an hour earlier but how do you actually start that go to bed earlier period practice training yourself so your morning routine actually starts with your nighttime routine. if you're on your phone before bed scrolling and getting that blue light then, of course, you're not going to feel as great waking up in the morning, of course, you're not that's where it starts.

because I will give you my second favorite concept of this book which he's spoken about also in a lot of his interviews as well podcasts and stuff like that but the importance of not using your phone first thing now when I use my phone in the morning I notice the difference in my day so my goal is how long can I go without using my phone straight after I wake up now I have a tv in my room so I listen to my meditation music and the Kinski for the mind process music on my tv I don't listen to it with my headphones unless I'm not currently with anyone but when I was with my ex I would just put my headphones on so I would use my phone I would only use my phone for youtube not to scroll and watch videos just to get the meditation music that is important when.

and one of the concepts he spoke about was you wouldn't let a thousand people into your room before you've even cleaned your teeth so why should we let a thousand people into our mind with social media before we've even cleaned our teeth we shouldn't the longer you can leave it the better and jay talks about this as well where he doesn't even leave his phone in his room when he goes to bed he charges it outside of his room.

so you don't have that urge to pick it up to get yourself an external alarm clock that's what I personally did but like I said if you don't have the ability to have an external source if you want to listen to meditation music or anything like that then use your phone but only use it for that and only you know because otherwise, you're lying to yourself there's no point in lying to yourself.

16. You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter by Dr. Joe Dispenza

The next one is "you are the placebo" by Dr. Joe Dispenza. the most incredible lecturer and healer but I don't know he's just a great guy he really is changing the world do you want to proceed by making your mind matter understanding that you don't even need a saline injection or a sugar pill to not only heal your life but change your life because effectively a placebo is a fake drug it's something that doesn't have any intrinsic therapeutic value it's just a sugar pill or a saline injection which is just sugar water.

it doesn't it isn't anything it doesn't actually help you in any way when people think they're getting the real drug or the real treatment if even if its placebo if they believe they strongly believe that what is coming into their mind is actually going to heal them they can heal so you don't need the drug you don't need an external stimulant you can't do it from your mind and that's where it starts.

and one of my favorite parts of the book and the topic I'm going to outline is about suggestibility obviously, that's why I do hypnosis I understand the power of suggestibility how we can tap into that and there are many different brain scans in the book as well to show you what happens when you're in those suggestible states when you're in different states of mind what's happening and it really outlines the power that we have within us to make shifts because he outlines the fact that.

if you can overcome the analytical mind you can become more suggestible that is how it works in hypnosis the way you hypnotize someone is by breaking away from the analytical mind and moving into the deeper brain waves and he explains all the brain waves in the book as well going from beta to alpha to theta all the way to delta and even gamma when you do some of his techniques now being suggestible may on face value be seen as weak or a bad thing.

but it's not at all yes people can use that for bad and you see it in the world in media and stuff like that all the time happening which is causing fear scaremongering and really causing people to be suggestible to their way of thinking because it's very easy to do it if they choose to manipulate you.

yes, it's possible to do but also it shows if you can be suggestible to their manipulation can you also be suggestible to your own empowerment to your own power to your own self-help to your own healing to your own wealth health abundance, yes the answer is black and white is yes if you can be suggestible to something you are suggestible to everything you can choose to make yourself suggestible to these more empowering and powerful thoughts without needing an external validation or source.

a lot of people get this question being a hypnotist well isn't it a hypnosis mind control site it's not but if used to manipulate someone you can influence them very well now if you can be influenced again you have the good end of the stick that you can be influenced in a positive way as well which you have the ability and capability to do so depending on our brainwave states we can hypnotize ourself and that is explained in you are the placebo how we can do the meditative process and tap into these more hypnotic and suggestible states of mind.

17. The Biology of Belief

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

The Biology of Belief by Bruce H. Lipton

When I opened this book, at first I thought it was the author's teaching autobiography, but later I thought it was a textbook on biology, and I saw that it also involved a profound analysis of physics. In the end, it turned into a "parenting" book with a wide range of content. , The breadth and depth of knowledge made me suddenly think of a spoof advertisement - it's really good for "home travel, killing people". . . . . . Good book. Of course, people are spoofing, but I am sincere, I really feel that way.

In addition, reading this book is more like reading a mystery novel, and the author's rigorous logical thinking as a biologist is perfectly reflected here. He overthrew the "gene control" theory for us with the exclusion method and step-by-step in-depth reasoning and deduction and told us how powerful the power of belief is with in-depth and concise truths and examples.

To be honest, instead of reading those entertaining books that are full of logical loopholes, it is better to find time to calm down and read this one. It can not only increase knowledge, but also self-medicate, both inspirational and learning.

Let me tell you something from my own experience. A few years ago, I followed the crowd and signed up for an intermediate interpreting class. The school is a famous English training institution (the name will not be announced), and the teaching model is called the "faith injection method", which is the name I gave it afterward.

Why do you say that, because he spends half of a class cheering up the students, so that the students feel that they have the ability to pass all subjects, but in fact, because of this education method, they have more than ordinary self-confidence? , so that I feel that I can easily pass the test without working hard. As for the result of the test, everyone must have guessed it. I still haven't passed.

So belief is just a kind of power. Like "genes", it can't decide everything.

18. Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One by Dr. Joe Dispenza

which then leads on to my favorite book of all time drum roll please "breaking the habit of being the breaking habit of being yourself" by Dr. Joe Dispenza.

how to lose the old mind and create a new one dr joe Dispenza is the biggest inspiration in my life. I know I believe there's we should meditate for much longer but I also know we live in a world of amazon where we get things the next day and people don't want to spend hours on end I always encourage people to spend hours on end but I want to give people the introduction to explain to sort of get them involved into it.

but breaking the habit of being yourself is an incredible book it really is about losing your old self and creating a whole new self because it is possible you can go from someone like myself as an example someone who used to take drugs used to get in fights all the time to then getting really bad depression and anxiety and mental health problems to now where I am today there are three different examples of who I've been in my lifetime and there are many more examples of that as well.

but one of my favorite concepts he outlines in this book is that you can overcome yourself you can overcome time be in nothing and effectively avoid nothing and then start to rebuild yourself from there and that's where the creation sets in that's where you can create something completely new in your life and he talks about how we memorize emotions and we can memorize these emotions in different places and he talks about how we memorize emotions and up to the age of 35 that is when we start to become fully programmed as a being.

so if you're past 35 it was originally thought that you could never change but there's proof scientific proof as well not just spiritual proof I personally prefer but there's also scientific proof as well to prove that you can change despite what you've been through and this is where joe depends on outlines and makes it very simple to understand bridging that science gap because there's a lot of science in this book he is incredibly intelligent and the science in this book will blow your mind.

I promise you that he proves the power of thought and a concentrated practice that we can shift anything and everything in our life.

"The Power of Now" is a spiritual classic that has been selling well for 20 years. "The Power of Now" is not just a book, it also contains living energy. This energy can miraculously change your life, and it turns out that it has changed the life trajectory of countless people.

This is not a book that you can read in one breath. It will accompany you throughout your life. Every time you read, you will have a different experience. We have always been under the control of "thinking", living in eternal anxiety about time.

We cannot control our brains and become slaves of "compulsive thinking"; we cannot forget the past, and we are more worried about the future. In fact, all we can have is the present. Everything happens in the present, and the past and the future are just meaningless illusions of time.

By surrendering to the present, we can find the source of strength and the entrance to peace and tranquility. There, we let go of anxiety and pressure and gain inner wisdom and true joy.

25. The Moon and Sixpence by W. Somerset Maugham

There were sixpence everywhere, but he looked up and saw the moon.-Maugham

"The Moon and Sixpence" is a novel written by British novelist William Somerset Maugham, written in 1919. The work uses the life of the French impressionist painter Paul Gauguin as the material.

It describes an originally ordinary London stockbroker Strickland, who suddenly fell into the magic of art, abandoning his wife and son, and abandoning the appearance of wealth from others.

To live a happy life, go to Tahiti in the South Pacific, use a round pen to compose the story of his brilliant life, and pour all the value of life into the gorgeous canvas.

He didn't care about the entanglement of poverty and the torture of illness, but he regretted never patronizing his consciousness. The work expresses the contradictions between genius, individuality, and material civilization, as well as modern marriage and family life.

It has a broad perspective on life. It uses a scalpel that smells of disinfectant to sharply dissect human nature wrapped in the skin, mixing with spectators. The laughing humor and cruel eyes.

26. The Courage to Be Disliked by Ichiro Kishimi

Your misfortune is not caused by the past or the environment, let alone lack of ability, just lack of "courage". In other words, it is the lack of "the courage to become happy."——Philosopher

A young man who was deep in inferiority, incompetence, and unhappiness, heard a philosopher’s claim that "the world is so pure, everyone can be happy" and challenged them.

The two started thinking and debating about you and me. After one night passed, the youth began to think, about why "the so-called freedom is to be hated by others"? It depends on what you are like.

27. The Outsider by Albert Camus

The end of a person's life is when everyone forgets him.-Camus

"The Outsider" is a novella written by Camus in France and a representative work of existential literature. "The Outsider" vividly embodies the concept of "absurdity" in existential philosophy; due to the separation of man and the world, the world is absurd and meaningless to man, and man is powerless against the absurd world, so he does not hold anything.

Hope, indifferent to everything. Albert Camus's "The Outsider" fully reveals the absurdity of the world and the opposition between people and society by shaping Morso's image of an "outsider" with shocking behavior and deviant speech.

Morso's various behaviors seem absurd and uncomfortable, but they are actually the weapons he uses to fight against this absurd world.

28. A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking

life-changing-books-you-must-read-in-2023

If only in terms of content, the content of "A Brief History of Time" is not the greatest, but the meaning of "A Brief History of Time" is much more than that. Despite being in today's impetuous world, everyone has a heart looking up at the stars deep inside. Hawking's "A Brief History of Time" is the key to that heart.

What is the universe and where does it come from? What are the time and space? What is the original law of the whole world like? "A Brief History of Time" takes us to try these puzzles.

Throughout the entire "A Brief History of Time", although the great Hawking did not mention it, I think there is still a topic worth pondering in the whole book, which is why the universe spawned us as observers to explore these puzzles. What is its meaning? Although Hawking passed away, his thoughts, his "A Brief History of Time" will always exist.

The great Hawking used his great "A Brief History of Time" to let many people see the beauty of theoretical physics, and how many people started to admire the epic picture of the universe.
