In 2007, I was interviewed for Eben Pagan's Monthly Report, a $30 million-a-year relationship consulting giant. One of the questions they ask is: What is the fastest way for a person to change his heart? My answer is: change your appearance.
If you want to become more confident and efficient, don't meditate, practice Zen, practice how to run faster, how to lift higher, and lose that stubborn last 2.5 kilograms of fat. These changes are so clearly visible, they can be quantified, they can be seen and touched, if they are achieved, they are achieved, and if they fail, they are failed. Then, when the outer change occurs, all you do is wait, and the inner change will come by itself.
I don't agree with Descartes' theory of separating body and mind. I feel that the body is the mind, and the mind is the body. The two are intertwined and cannot be separated. When you want to change your mind, first change your body.
